The Vanishing Point

As artists, the Year 3/4 focused on the art element, lines and the concept one-point perspective, the ‘Vanishing Point’. As collaborators, we discussed and explored samples of art pieces that had displayed a vanishing point. Students used a black fine liner to draw a horizon line and place a point in center of the horizon line. After that they had the time and opportunity to draw a road to the vanishing point with the city and mountains in the distance. The students used water colours to paint their vanishing point art piece. The students were amazed with their creations using the art element, line.
