We did an art unit on Australia and looked at some native birds including rosellas.

We carefully studied their shapes, parts and colours and did a step-by-step line drawing in pencil followed by black oil pastel. Finally we painted our pictures with bright poster colours. Some students chose to use the actual bird colours, others chose their own.
