Year 9 & 10 students at Ballarat Christian College in the Visual Arts elective, explored the theme of “Self”, reflecting upon and considering many aspects about themselves, such as their interests, their family, their hobbies, quotes that inspire or impact them and much more.

They adapted, manipulated, deconstructed and reinvented techniques, styles, practices and processes to make a finished piece about themselves, or “Self”, through ink drawings.

Students also looked at aspects of “Our World”, including responding to a still-life, to exhibit in the Ballarat Christian College “Garden Show” exhibition held early in 2016 and the Annual College Prep- 12 Art exhibition held in October. They made and responded to many visual artworks, artists and art styles.
