From Warringa Park:

Students in the early years are given many opportunities to explore different mediums, textures and colours in the art room.

Every lesson we will introduce songs, animals, stories, wondering walls, within the framework of the curriculum students become excited and begin to think discuss and explore using their own unique interpretation.  

We have stamping and rolling painting, collage and corn flour painting sessions, honey and sand mixed with rainbow colours, ink stamping with pastel and watercolour. students love to explore the textures and create their own individual artwork around the introduced topics, it's always a delight viewing the artwork at the end of every lesson and how students have put their own individual stamp on the teaching and learning that is taking place every day
