Mythical Creature Sculptures

Year 7 students from Siena College created Magiclay sculptures of mythical creatures. This unit provided students with the necessary practical and art appreciation skills to complete a 3D artwork that uses the theme of ‘Mythical creatures’ as a sources of inspiration for their idea development.

Students documented their practical experiences in their visual diaries, the annotations- written and visual indicate their thought processes and exploration of the topic and art form.
