Each participant will tell a visual story of their life celebrations, adventures, interests, places, travels and achievements. These “Story Landscapes” are personalised artworks that are designed to stimulate conversation and reflection. What to bring: Each participant should bring in objects or paper materials they would like to add to their artwork. Any of the following would be sufficient: Travel pictures, brochures or magazines, business cards, stationary, ticket stubs, photos, small objects, favourite restaurant or eats, quotes, poems or sayings, significant events, images or really any materials you would like referenced in the artwork. About the Presenter My name is Robert Lee Davis. I am a visual artist who uses personal story and collage to create cinematic paintings reminiscent of early colonial coastal cartographic surveys. Working across painting and collage I combine formal techniques with newsprint and images from journals and magazines.
