Kerryn Knight, known as ‘Kez’ has extensive experience as an Artist as well as being a skilled facilitator of Community Art Projects, is a Transpersonal Art Therapist, Registered Level 2 Counsellor and Clinical Supervisor.
She specialises in working with young people, indigenous youth and multicultural youth.
Kerryn has facilitated Community Art Projects for Primary and Secondary Schools, Youth Services, School Holiday Programs and works with young people to create public sculpture and art work.
Some of her projects include working with St Bernard’s Primary, Parkdale Secondary College, Patterson River Secondary College, Monash Medical Centre, Dandenong West Primary School; Keysborough College; Collective creative therapeutic projects at Elizabeth Murdoch College with other secondary schools around Frankston and the Mornington Peninsula, as well as Councils throughout the South East, and has facilitated workshops for numerous exhibitions of young peoples’ artwork.
In 2016 Kerryn founded Kindred Art Space based on her belief in the healing arts and the benefits achieved for her clients over many years.
This large welcoming converted-warehouse space holds 150 people in theatre-style and is perfect for school excursions and workshops.
Kerryn also runs Professional Development and Self Care programs for Teachers across Melbourne.
Kerryn uses the medium of art to empower young people for positive change, leadership and teambuilding with outstanding results.
