The Year 6 students from St. Simon the Apostle Primary School have completed a unit on sustainability and created this art installation piece.

The unit focused on reducing landfill and recycling magazines to change the form to create collaborative art pieces. They used the technique of making a magazine bowl.

They kept it flat and were given the opportunity to paint their magazine circle to distinguish their circle from others making it unique in colour, structure and size before attaching it to the group canvas.
