The Level 2 students examined real plants and intersecting stem growth before embarking on this lively printing project.

They used a number of objects to stamp fluorescent marks onto black paper- creating wild and wonderful printed gardens.

Printing Materials:
* cardboard off- cuts
* cigarette filters
* cotton tip buds
* matchsticks
* wooden dowel
* fluorescent acrylic paint

The butterflies/ dragonflies were modelled with Paper Magiclay. The wings were constructed with wire and tissue paper. The overall piece was embellished with sequins and beads.
