Materials

• Woven Braid Asst 10m (2 x 5m)
• Paper Raffia Assorted 10s
• Paper Raffia Christmas 10s

• Jewellery Pinch Clasp 13mm 30’s Antique Silver

Step 1. Cut a 20cm length of Woven Braid.

Step 2. With a plastic darning needle weave lengths of Paper Raffia or Metallic Yarn through the Braid. Explore different colour combinations e.g. festive, warm or cool colours.

Step 3. Make a short fold at one end of the Braid, and attach three Pinch Clasps to hold and secure the woven Yarns/Raffia in place.

Step 4. Use jewellery pliers to open the jump rings of the Tassels and then attach them to the base of the Pinch Clasps.

Step 5. Fold a 5cm x 5cm square of felt over the other end of the decorated braid to tidy up the loose ends.
