(PM) Afternoon session SOLD OUT!
Fashion illustration is a fun and bold style of drawing which has many applications, from design concepts to editorial artwork.
In addition to exploring this scope of artwork through examining examples of the world’s best fashion illustrations, this workshop will explain how fashion figures differ from traditional figures, and how you can get a pose sketched freehand on paper quickly and with life and movement. The key principles of fashion illustration will be covered, along with a step by step method for constructing the figures.
From there it will introduce colour, using copic markers and colour pencils combined in a powerful yet easy way, creating both 3D effects and drama. Focus here is also on minimal materials with maximum effect.
Information presented will be informative, accessible, and useful.
