Heatherton Christian College’s Year 10 students investigated the work of Elizabeth Gower – an Australian Collage artist. They made observations about how and why Elizabeth Gower created her work to develop their own reasoning for creating a collage work in her style.

Analysis of Gower’s use of aesthetic qualities also assisted them in their own manipulation of use of the elements of art such as colour, shape and pattern and in their use of several principles of design to create a cohesive and harmonious artwork.
