Year 9 2D Art students from St Bede’s college researched Borodalo II and wrote an essay about him and his artistic practice.

Portuguese street artist Artur Bordalo, akaBordalo II, tackles the problem of urban rubbish through his fantastic street-art. Students chose two artworks to explore in-depth in their essay before beginning an artwork inspired by Borodalo IIs animals.

They used foam core to create an animal and the Langridge Decorative finishes to give it a deteriorating metal look. These animals were attached to a texturally painted background.
