Australian Indigenous Artists – Karla Dickens & Con Colleano Collage

Students were fortunate to participate in an online workshop with Indigenous Artist Karla Dickens. Dickens introduced the students to Australia’s world renowned tightrope walker Con Colleano and his international achievements and success. Students were inspired by Dickens use of recycled materials in her own artwork. They completed these artworks in a 90 minute session using left over materials collected from the schools artroom and a copy of Colleano’s famous tightrope photo.
