3D Felted Shadow Boxes

Students from St Joseph’s Primary School Trafalgar have made small felted characters, a wet felted square for the back of their shadow boxes and a shadows box from balsa wood.

They covered the shadow boxes with recycled curtain fabric and commercial felt. This project took a term and a half to complete the three steps. It was a very engaging topic and many students have gone and purchased their own felting supplies for home use.
