    About this Live In-Person Workshop

    Do you have a set of Gel Printing Plates that you’re not sure what to do with?
    Are you looking for new ideas and ways to use them with your students?
    Are you looking to start a new printing unit or revamp a tired old program with some fresh ideas?

    This workshop will help you explore a variety of Gel Plate printing techniques, tips and tricks to create a unique range of one-off prints on paper, card and tape.

    Discover the possibilities of the Gel Print plate – which is easy to clean, reusable and creates fast drying art outcomes which can be used for a range of art experiences.

     

    In this live in-peson workshop, you will:

  • Be introduced to the Gel Plate; how to use it and what it can do.
  • Learn proper care, tips & tricks for use and storage of your Gel Plates.
  • Explore basic print techniques, ghost prints, layering, textures and stencils.
  • Experiment to create Magazine Transfer Prints.
  • Create a Clear Tape Print to make a book cover, mini collage and clear vinyl wallet.
  • Discuss classroom tips, set-up, extension ideas and display options.
  • Share feedback, questions and outcomes with the group & presenter.
