About this Live In-Person Workshop
Have you wondered how to effectively incorporate the cross curriculum priority of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Histories and Cultures into your lessons?
Join Tahlia Megele in this mixed media journaling workshop and explore a variety of contemporary Australian artists, materials and techniques in the one artwork.
Together we will explore a range of contemporary Australian artists, including First Nations artists, and draw inspiration from their style, subject matter and art making techniques. In this workshop we will create abstract paintings, lino prints and drawings with a range of markers while journaling and exploring our own unique connection to Country.
Explore colour mixing, redefine ideas of shape, break down textures and experiment with line while you collage, print and paint your own unique fold out journal.
This workshop will give you a full term’s worth of work that you can use with your own students and is suitable for junior primary through to secondary school students.
In this live in-person workshop, you will:
