Casting Resin Clear 1.5kg is a hard and rigid epoxy resin perfect for general purpose casting and embedding. Easy to use and versatile, Casting Resin Clear 1.5kg is great for general casting, embedding, resin jewellery making and badge coating. Easily achieve marbling effects and decorative embellishments (resin pouring art), transparent tints and solid colours by mixing with Transparent Dye, Opaque Pigment, Metallic Powder Pigments, Alcohol Inks or any acrylic paint.
To use, simply measure parts A (epoxy resin) and B (hardener) into separate containers with a ratio of 100:50 (2:1). For accuracy, digital scales are necessary. Pour Part B into Part A’s container. Scrape all the excess hardener from the sides and bottom of the container using a large flat edged Popstick. Mix the two parts together thoroughly until all visible unmixed swirls are gone. Pour the resin into a silicone or plaster latex mould. Allow to cure for 8-12 hours. Now demould and enjoy your creation!
Safety: Always wear a mask, gloves and eye protection, and work in a well ventilated area. Make sure you are working on a table covered with Plastic Sheeting to prevent damage.
