Turtles

Term: 4 Year: 2017

Year 1 students from Peninsula Grammar read  The Smallest Turtle by Lynley Dodd and Turtle Tricks by Steve Parish. They modelled a round shape from Magiclay to form a turtle shell.  Then pulled Magiclay to make head, flippers, tail. Tools were used to add texture to the Magiclay and create patterns on shell. Sequins were attached with Supertac Glue then the shell was coloured with metallic markers.
