Students in 5/6 were inspired to create elaborate trees after looking at Gustav Klimt’s ‘Tree of Life’ painting.

They blew into straws to move ink to form a tree with branches.
Students also used the straws like paint brushes to make spiral patterns by moving the ink ever so carefully in the direction they wanted.

Highlights of glitter paint and sequins were used to embellish, adding detail to their trees.

Lots of fun was evident during the learning process with interesting tree designs created.
