Join multiple Archibald Prize finalist Keith Burt in considering proportion, colour mixing and paint application.
This workshop is suitable for those who want to understand and advance their knowledge of portraiture.
Participants will work directly from life, with a focus on understanding the foundations of a successful portrait, by working through exercises in observational drawing, proportion and form. Learn how shape, form, tone and colour can be manipulated to capture the endlessly fascinating subject of the human face.
About the Presenter
Keith Burt was born in Sydney, educated in Melbourne and lives and works in Brisbane.
He was an Archibald Portrait Prize finalist in 2019 & 2017 and was finalist in the inaugural Brisbane Portrait Prize 2019.
