Students researched surrealism in order to generate ideas and refine their thinking.

They trialed media and different drawing and painting techniques in preparation for their final artwork. Trials included mixing and applying acrylic paint using a variety of brush strokes, keeping a record of this – and annotating their process/techniques. Students used box board for their final canvas and painted it using a layered style of acrylic painting. The theme for this task was ‘The Hidden Image’ or, ‘The Impossible is Possible’.
