The girls were studying Surrealism and therefore their drawing task was influenced by this movement. The task was
to be completed in pencil, predominately grey lead with some element of colour.

The drawing had to contain ….a bug, underground element, root system, plant and a fruit or a flower.
They
could also include images of their choice; they could also use a number of different papers and collage the whole
thing together.
The girls had to research a number of different drawing styles, including surrealism, realism and
botanical art.
