This workshop will provide teachers with an opportunity to learn how to incorporate Street Art techniques into their Art programs through an exploration of what is art and what is damage.
During the morning session, you will be shown two examples of street art programs run by Dee Zabel in both primary and secondary school settings.
This will provide a starting point and resource for teachers to incorporate Street Art into their own programs through inquiry-based investigations.
The remainder of the day will be dedicated to learning and utilising several different Street Art techniques to decorate a wooden skateboard deck! You will gain skills that will captivate your school and students.
By learning about a youth-oriented pastime, that has a massive appeal to all students, you will gain a new way to engage and encourage students whilst having a really fun and inspiring time!
