Year 8 students from Korowa Anglican Girls' School, Glen Iris, explored tonal perceptive drawings by designing their own totem pole. Through a selection of different grades of pencils, 2B, B and 4B, they created a drawing of several objects stacked on top of one another. Light source was important and they were encouraged to add shadows and highlights.
