Mount Scopus Memorial College  Burwood’s Year 10 students completed a brief drawing exercises to a variety of music genres. They viewed a PowerPoint of Kandinsky’s work and discussed the innovations he developed in reinterpreting his environment.

After exploring and trailing paint techniques used by Kandinsky students created a final colour design developed from to a variety of music genres. They used colour, line, tone, shape, contrast, repetition and pattern to enrich their design in Kandinsky’s style.
