In this workshop participants will design and produce a soft sculpture inspired by popular food culture. Familiarising themselves with traditional hand stitching techniques and contemporary soft sculptural artists such as Sue-Ching Laschelles, Chloe Smith, Chilli Philly and Mirka Mora, participants will create food products out of coloured felt.
Key stitching techniques will be practiced and differentiated outcomes will be discussed to assist participants in scaffolding these techniques for different age groups.
