To make the Snugglepot & Cuddlepie gumnuts, students created small pinch pots using clay.

Using an old toothbrush, students brushed over the outside of the gumnut to add texture. Little gumnut hats were
made by pinching a small ball of clay and moulding a point for the tip. To make the leaf, students rolled a slab of
clay, cut out a leaf using a template and created a hole at the top for the leather strap to thread through.
Snugglepot and Cuddlepies heads were created from foot ends of stockings, filled and firmly tied in a knot. Patty
pans provided the gumnuts with hair. The leaf was painted with poster paints and decorated with Kindyglitz.
