Slow Art is a contemporary art movement that celebrates craft, technique, and materials.
Through textiles and stitch reinvent 2D and 3D textile art outcomes, Slow art and making celebrates the process not the “end product”.
Recycling, reinventing, reusing are focus points of this art movement. Slow art & craft also has connections to mindfulness practice. The more you slow down and work with your hands, the quieter the noise in your head.
Join Tania as she introduces you to a new way of “Slowing Down”.
“The environment we live in is amazing – we just need to slow down and look”
