Grade 3 students from Heany Park Primary School attended a workshop at the Knox Transfer Station in October
2010.It was part of a recycled art workshop carried out in conjunction with our local Knox Stringybark Festival.

This project was worked on by the Knox City Council Sustainability Team in conjunction with their Waste Management
and Cultural Planning and Development Teams. Knox City engaged the artists from Artrageous to help the students make
their clocks from items found at The Knox Transfer Station.

The clocks faces were made from old records and then the students added the bits and pieces that had been
collected by the staff at the Knox Transfer Station. Clock mechanisms were then added.

Artrageous run workshops for schools, libraries etc. They can be contacted through Penny O’Neill on 9337
9335 or 0411 762 805.
