Year 3 and 4 students from McKinnon Primary School People connected to the Inquiry ‘People use Visual Arts to express themselves in different ways.” They explored and responded to artwork by Picasso. They discussed his abstract use of line to represent facial features, realistic and unrealistic proportions of facial features, and how he has used shape and colour to create an abstract appearance. They created sketches of a Picasso inspired face before turning it into a 3D collage construction.
