Look and discuss contemporary patterns such as those by Beck Ng and Jo Nathan and artworks by Ken Done and Rosalie Gascoigne. Notice the organic and geometric shapes as well as the use of colour.
Step 1. Draw patterns onto a Wooden Standing Australian Animal shape with Poscas. Cover the whole shape. Do no use black in this step. Continue the pattern onto the wooden legs.
Step 2. Use an EverZart Broad Marker to add the animal’s features (eyes, nose, beak, etc.).
Step 3. Assemble the shape to stand.
