Mother’s Day Key Ring

Materials:

Wooden Australian Gum shapes
Alcohol Ink
Pinata Claro Extender
Gesso
Paint brush
White Perma Pen
Acrylic Wool
Key Chains
8mm Jump rings
PVA Glue
Jewellery pliers

Step 1
Paint a smooth thin layer of Gesso on the gum shape and leave to dry

Step 2
Cover the painted surface with Claro Extender, drop on a small amount of alcohol ink and blow it across the surface to create a pattern. You can blot excess colour off with paper towel if you need to

Step 3
After the ink has completely dried, use the white Perma Pen to add some decorative linework

Step 4
Use two different coloured yarns to create a tassel as shown in the video

Step 5
Link your decorated gum shape and the tassel to the key chain with jump rings
