Limb Sculptures Term: 2 Year: 2011 During Black Hill Primary's Arts Week, each class experienced a range of art activities in response to a specific artist and worked towards a collaborative ‘Yard Art’ piece to be permanently displayed within the school grounds. Grades 5 and 6 students created life-size sculptures of their limbs using clear packing tape as a casting material in response to work of Mark Jenkins. Using these packing tape casts, students explored the concept of installation within the school grounds, creating unusual scenarios and capturing these through photography.
