Epping Secondary College’s Year 8 students researched the work of Gustav Klimt and incorporate prior knowledge of portrait drawing to create a Klimt inspired self-portrait.

They learnt colour mixing skills and the use of repetition of line and shape to create pattern. Students used fine brush skills including how to load and hold the brush to achieve a consistent fine line.
