Students observed and discussed the work of Keith Haring

Students manipulated cardboard into 3D structures, focussing on form, shape, space. Construction methods of tabs and L shaped braces reinforced the walls followed by Papier Mache to create the ‘canvas’. Vipond paints were used for the base colour, followed by detailed contoured patterns with posca pens. A collaborative installation took place. Cardboard, masking tape, hot glue guns, Vipond paint, posca pens, permanent markers. (Approx. 30x5x20cm)
