This workshop will be dedicated to familiarising you with the App Brushes Redux, an application that you can use with your students to enhance your traditional Art program.
The focus will be on using this drawing/painting App to create still life inspired by artist David Hockney.
The Workshop Video will show how to create new artworks, adjust brush sizes and change colours within Brushes Redux to build skills and confidence before attending the live workshop. Participants will watch this video first, and follow along in your own time to learn and practise these introductory techniques prior to the online session.
During the Online Session, you will be guided through how to create an artwork on the iPad using the techniques learnt in the video and practised beforehand. We’ll also discuss ideas for different ways of displaying digital artworks.
A general knowledge of how to use the iPad is recommended for this workshop.
