The visual art teachers at Heidelberg Primary School used the Zart Education online PL Module: Friedensreich Hundertwasser to help guide their student’s exploration of the artist and his practice, with an emphasis on shape, colour and line.

Hundertwasser had a passion for spirals and arabesque lines, this was in reaction to the man-made world, which he critiqued:“Today we live in a chaos of straight lines, in a jungle of straight lines.”

Heidelberg Primary School students have produced some wonderful examples of bold, organic linework, similar in style to Hundertwasser’s own art.
