Foundations students from Lucknow Primary School explored Gel Plate printing with a round Gel Plate. They applied paint, moved it with paint scrapers, and pressed their paper onto to the plate to then reveal a print. This activity linked to previous discussions of mark making with pastels and colour mixing. I told them there are lots of ways we can make marks in our artworks and here was another way.
