Ken Done Inspired Flowers
Term: 4 Year: 2010
Students were given the task of looking at the work of Ken Done and his contribution to the Australian art
scene.
The drawing ‘November Lilies’ 1986 was chosen as the piece to depict in colour. The students
used oil pastels for the drawing and then used black Chromacryl Paint to cover the work.
When dry the black paint was scratched off with a Stanley knife blade.
The students enjoyed the task and were surprised by the results they were able to achieve.
