Year 9 Students from St. Bede’s College Mentone was part of a project entitled ‘Fictional Characters’. Students had to choose any fictional character (from movies/books/video games) and draw it in detail using coloured pencils. We used Mi-Teintes paper and Prismacolour Premier pencils for the colour. Students did at least three pages of sketches in their visual diaries of various characters before choosing the one they wanted to use for their final piece. Two of the drawings won awards at our annual art show (Roy O’Neill and Michael Uberti).
