Mixed Media (paper making, coloured pencils and acrylic paint)

Students studied artworks about Ancient Egypt and used crepe paper to make their own version of papyrus paper. Once that was dry, they used the hieroglyphs alphabet to write their name or a secret message. They coloured in the drawings using colouring pencils and used teabags to stain the paper. After it dried out, they used golden acrylic paint for the boarder.
