In the style of Matisse, Eric Carle and Pete Cromer, participants will explore the art of Creating our own papers, cutting and arranging layers of texture to compose a final collage to celebrate the Beauty of Australian Flora.
This workshop will explore the simple art of making our own painted papers, in the colourways of your chosen Australian Flora.
Teachers will experiment with adding colour to a range of coloured papers, followed by an exploration of cutting and gluing techniques, to best suit the final collage composition.
Learn ideas and techniques which can be shared in the primary and secondary classroom – and further inspire your own arts practice.

 
About the Presenter

Tania Di Berardino has a Bachelor of Fine Art and is a practising Artist; she has worked with Zart Art for fourteen years as a consultant and workshop facilitator. Tania has conducted workshops with primary, secondary and early year’s teachers as well as students and fellow artists. Tania’s focus when running a workshops is to encourage participants to explore and discover, things about art, materials and more importantly about themselves.
