As part of the 2021 Nurturing Creativity Online Conference, all attendees are automatically included
in the Keynote Presentation which commences each day,
as well as participate in TWO hands-on workshops included in the ticket price!

With an exciting range of innovative artists and educators soon to be announced,
you’re sure to be inspired by our workshop program line-up for this 2-day event!

All participants will be asked to register for 1 x Day One session and 1 x Day Two session
during final payment & checkout. Keynote Speakers & Learning Reflections are automatically included for all participants.

Please be sure to select carefully before registering your sessions during checkout,
as sessions cannot be changed once booked.

Empowering Teachers and Students

Kylie Captain is a proud Gamilaroi woman, born and raised in the Redfern/Waterloo Community in Sydney. Kylie is a primary school teacher and leader in Aboriginal Education. She has deep understanding of pedagogical knowledge and practices to engage Aboriginal students and is passionate about increasing everyone’s knowledge about Aboriginal Australia.
Kylie has extensive experience presenting professional learning for schools and at conferences and is the Vice President of the Aboriginal Studies Association.
Kylie has had an impressive career working in community service and education. Kylie is now a leader in Aboriginal Education for the NSW Department of Education
Kylie’s resilience and determination has inspired many. Her passion and commitment is highlighted in all she does. Kylie dedicates her work to improving outcomes for Aboriginal students and inspiring all young people to recognise their potential, believe in themselves and chase their dreams.

RECORDING NOTICE:

Please note that there will be NO RECORDING of this year’s conference, and therefore no keynote, workshop, or learning reflection sessions will be available to view after the live event. (Teachers notes/resources for all sessions will be made available to all registered participants however, and optional workshop kits will be available to purchase)
