About Claudia
Claudia has been facilitating workshops for over 15 years throughout Australia for schools and communities.
Her school-based and adult workshops have received excellent feed back from teachers, students and communities alike.

Workshops can be tailored to suit most age groups, and the content is flexible enough to allow for intensive delivery over a few days or it can be done over a number of weeks.
Students find herworkshops highly enjoyable and relish in creating in novel mediumssuch as wearable art, mosaics, recycled materials, permanent and ephemeral installations using recycled materials and sculpture.

Claudia is about to release a new workshop outline called “The Art of Wearable Waste”which focuses onbeing creative and using recycled and disused materials – such as VCR tapes, plastic, tyre tubes, fabrics and wire -to create visually stunning and beautiful garments.

Claudia enjoys working in collaboration with individuals, organisations, schools and community events, asking the question”What are your waste materials?”
With this answer Claudia designs and creates one-off pieces.

“What I love about creating works from recycled materials is the garment and art piece reallychallenges people’s conceptions of art, fashion and recycling. When I tell people the bodice is made fromsoft recycled plastic, they really can’t believe it.”
