Students learnt a number of skills in creating a fabric plant in a ceramic pot.

Some of these skills involved clay pinch pot construction, incised and relief clay decoration, painting, fabric cutting, sewing seams and mixed media construction.

Students were encouraged to explore the use of patterns in their clay decorating and the possibilities of using mixed media to make their plant into a character!
