Ah Xian Inspired Busts

Year 6 have been focussing on immigrant artists and what they have contributed to Australian culture.

In particular they have studied the ceramic busts of Chinese artist and explored the messages he conveys in his work.

The students were then asked to design and model their own bust out of clay and decorate them in a way that illustrated what it is to be Australian.
