‘Camilla Spadafino’ Self Portraits

Students worked in the method of Camilla Spadafino (Tennessee USA), transferring an image from a photograph onto paper. Students cross hatched pencil on the back of the photo and transferred the image onto paper. Students then designed a wallpaper background, composed of things that represent them and things they love.

Students outlined the self-portrait and wallpaper with back pen, varying the width and shape of lines to add interest. They coloured in their creation with bright Posca paints.
