Steam Punk Robots

Construction recycled and collage. Paper, plastic, wood, cardboard as the main materials. Double sided tape, masking tape and hot glue gun. Brown acrylic paint and bronze buff paint to finish.

The Robots took longer than anticipated and some students were still completing their robots right up until the end of term. For the students who did complete their Robots early, they helped to paint and assemble the panels and make the sign for our Art Display.

I made some modifications to the unit planner as the term progressed, but mainly followed its structure and activities. As you will see in the unit planner, the students also designed their initial letter in steam punk style and added some collage embellishments.
Year 5
