ZART ART started trading in 1988 and is an Australian owned company committed to supporting teachers in the area of arts education. We believe arts education contributes to the mental and creative growth of young people and is therefore an essential component of the curriculum. Yet we recognise that today's teachers are challenged to offer creative programs in the context of an overcrowded curriculum and often with limited funds.
Hours: 8.30am to 5pm Mon-Wed Fri. Thurs 8.30-7.00pm. 8.30am to 2pm Saturday.

Our student art gallery features art works of primary and secondary students from around Victoria. The gallery was set up to provide students with an opportunity to have their art works valued and displayed in a 'real' art gallery. Students, their parents and teachers are welcome to visit the gallery. Gallery hours are Mon-Wed, Fri between 8.30am-5pm, Thurs 8.30am-7pm and Sat 8.30am-2pm.

The Zart Extra is a publication which is sent out to all schools in the first week of each term. This newsletter allows art teachers/co-ordinators to learn about what is happening in art education and what other art teachers are doing. There is also information on new art techniques and processes and the latest materials and resources on the market. The insert of the newsletter provides details of our term's workshops, so teachers can then contact us and book into the workshops. more info... |
